United States, 3rd Dec 2023, King NewsWire – The 4th Annual Presidential Lifetime Achievement Awards will take place this Sunday, December 3rd, in Houston, Texas, to honor community leaders from around the nation. Hosted and presented by Dr. Sonia R. White, a United States Air Force Veteran and Founder of the S.M.I.L.E. ( Smart Men In Leadership Excellence) Foundation, the historic event will feature special appearances from invited influential guests: Mayor Sylvester Turner, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Keynote speaker, Tiki Davis, State Representative Ron Reynolds, Jalene Mack, Miss Houston turned Miss Texas Queen Lluvia Alzate, and others.
The highly anticipated sold-out event attracts attendees from around the country each year. All proceeds go toward the S.M.I.L.E. Foundation, a non-profit organization that mentors minority youth with academic scholarships and STEM education.
This year, opening remarks will be presented by the Mayor of Houston Sylvester Turner. Keynote Speaker Tiki Davis will also receive honors with support from Julius Tennon, the husband of Viola Davis. The Masters of Ceremony are State Representative Ron Reynolds and Mistress of Ceremony Entertainment Attorney Jalene Mack.
Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee will also be in attendance to present the Congressional Recognition Award, and musician Rickey Davis will perform a Frank Sinatra Special Performance.
